Biography

I am an assistant professor in the department of neurolinguistics at the University of Groningen (The Netherlands). Before that, I did a postdoc in the Department of Cognitive Science at Johns Hopkins University (USA) and at Trinity College Dublin (Ireland), under the auspices of an Atlantic Fellowship – Global Brain Health Institute. I hold a PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience (IDEALAB, Trento, Italy – Groningen, Netherlands – Macquarie, Australia), a MSc in Clinical Linguistics (EMCL, Groningen – Netherlands, Potsdam – Germany) and BAs in Catalan and English Philology (Autonomous University of Barcelona, Spain). I am an active member of the European Low Grade Glioma Network. I review for numerous journals, chair talks, and contribute to science journalism.
